Stephan Klose is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Centre for Security, Diplomacy and Strategy (CSDS) and the Centre for Migration, Diversity and Justice (CMDJ) of the Brussels School of Governance (BSoG-VUB). He holds a PhD from the VUB, and an MA from Lund University.
Stephan’s research interests include EU foreign policy, EU-Asia relations, EU identity construction, de-radicalization and role theory. He currently works on the H2020 project INDEED which aims to strengthen the evaluation of initiatives to prevent and counter violent extremism. Stephan teaches “Geopolitics” and “Thesis Writing” in the BSoG-VUB MA programmes Global Security and Strategy and Diplomacy and Global Governance.
